Neustadt and Parndorf

1. On 9 and 10 May 1953, the following planes were observed at Wiener Neustadt
airfield :
65 MIG-15, 12 YAK-9, 6 PO-22 3 IL-2.
2. On the same date, the following planes were observed at the Theresienfeld
airfield (Wiener Neustadt North):
8 IL-2, 3 PO-2.
3. The following planes were observed during the air-show staged by Soviet
forces in connection with the observance of May Day at the Parndorf
airfield:
12 YAK-9, 45 MIG-15, 5 PO-2.

25X1 MIG-15 planes were observed landing and was
noted that the pilot applied the brakes in such a way that the plane came
to a complete standstill at a point only 300 meters from where it had first
touched the ground.
