L-ro-Ir 1951 and 1952 at the Metallurgical Combine East ffuerstenberg/Ode].
1951 projects include a means for trans ortin slag from the furnace to the
cement factory. At this stage the cement department 0 has been
agreed on to transport the slag by means of (railroad) cars, beginning approximately
15 November 1951.
1952 projects include an additional storage site approximately 1,000 meters in
length; a traveling crane, negotiations for which are being carried on with the
Bleichert firm; and a number of additions to the sintering, ore-bed, and mixing
installations. The blast furnace installation is to receive three more furnaces,
and a fourth one is to be added during the first quarter of 1953. Minister Zo_f Heavy
Industril Selbmann has not yet decided whether the capacity of the fifth furnace
should be raised from 500 to 600 tons.
Priority is being given to the task of getting the first furnace into operation
