1, On the Talgt of 9 May a fight took place at Ramah Bangko in Djstinegara,
a suburb of Djakarta, between a company- of the pro-Indonesian Republic
Pasukan Istimera and a company of the Tentera Republik Indonesia Seriat
(TR!) Ktla Hitam. Battalion,. commanOud by Capt Bumarsono. The fight
lasted hall an hour and three TRIS von and one istimewa men or killed.

3. In additior there are pickpockets acureting in the trams, trains and on
buses in groups, iadividual Angketan Perang Ratu Adil (AREA) men in peain-
clothes and in uniform, and Republik Indonesia armed forces in units such
as the Pasekan Istimewa.
4. The Tentera Rahasie of Rawamangun, Djatinegera, has been withdrawn to
Cheribon.
5. On 17 Xlay three thousand TRIS man raided the followina kampongs in Djakarta
in an effort to cheek crime in this area:

6. In tho Tnnah Abana area four Indonesian were arreeted. They hed two
revolvers without papers.
East of Bogor the APRA has reorganized and is waiting for an opportunity
to attaek the TRIS post at Tjiteureup, Djonggol, Tjileungsir and Tjibinong.
8. Two commandants of the Tentera Rakjat, Chairul Saleh and Lt. Colonel
Muhidin Nasution, who were arrested, have been moved from the jail in
Pledang, Bogor, to Banteuj, Bandung. They led their forces aaainst the
Tentera Nasional Indonesia in southern Bantam in August and September
of last year.
9. The Barisan Satan, which is under Jahja Nasution, who is closely connected
with Snieh and Nesution, is still active in southeaetern rural Bogor.
10. The Tentera Islam Indonesia (TII) is organizing a line of attack from Leles
to Brebes vaainet three THIS brigades which have a total of about ten
thousand men spread out in this area.

From 3 Janurry through 30 -April 1950 there were 5C2 motor err thefts in
Cumbaye, lang, Pausuruan, and elsewhere in East Java reported. During
the same pealed in this area there were 500 armed robberies, 150 murders
and kidnaepIngs, and 250 cases of looting and plunderina reported to the
police.
The fueled youths of the Gabungan Pembelah l'roklamasi are active in Surabaya,
ndang, Kediri, Blitar and the plantation areas of Besuki Residency. Col.
Sungkono ha: been reluctant to take action against them.
