10. Exchange of Views Regarding
"De-Stalinization" Developments
in the USSR
The membersi xchanged views on recent 25X1
events in the USSR, particularly with respect to the nature and sig-
nificance of "de-Stalinization" developments.
11. IAC Secretariat
The Chairman informed the members that 5X1
was, on 15 March, appointed Secretary of the Intelligence Advisory
Committee, vice The Chairman and other members 25X1
expressed their appreciation tol for his work as Secretary 25X1
of the Committee.

1. The IAC Committee on Exchange of Delegations with the USSR
and the European Satellites, at its 12 March meeting, agreed to invite
USIA to sit with the committee. Unless objection is raised by an IAC
member prior to the next scheduled meeting of the Exchange Committee
on 26 March, the Secretary will authorize this committee formally to
extend an invitation to USIA.
3. The NIS Committee on 13 March 1956 approved the release
to the Department of Commerce of the following NIS elements on the
Areas listed:
