Action: Approved. (The Members were given an "IAC Memorandum of Record," prepared by ONE and dated 11 May, setting forth the Members' views on the matter recorded in paragraph 7 of the 4 May minutes.) The Political Outlook for Indonesia Through 1954 (NIE 65-54) 2. Action: Approved as amended. 25X1 Post-Mortem of 1953 Production 5. Action: Noted and agreed to produce a similar paper semi-annually for IAC noting and circulation by the DCI. It was understood that this action did not constitute an IAC injunction to meet the deficiencies. Rather, the individual agencies should use the findings as they deem appropriate to their particular collection and production programs. 6. Discussion: It was considered unnecessary to resolve the divergence of opinion as to the relative importance of the listed deficiencies and as to suggestions for meeting them by the post-mortem process at this time, inasmuch as all agencies are responsive to the agreed priority list of critical national intelligence objectives.
