Meza notified Ortega that General Carlos Pasos, Nicaraguan Conservative leader and revolutionary, was handling large sums of dollars belonging to Cuban President Prio, who now has great confidence in Pasos, according to Meza. President Arevalo of Guatemala was also mentioned as being involved in revolutionary activities, and Ness stated that a conference scheduled for 29 March in Habana, Cuba,, would greatly clarify and strengthen Arevalo's revolutionary negotiations. Meza added that something was being prepared on the Belize issue., but he did not enlarge on this theme, Mesa also discussed the accusation of peculation of revolutionp ry funds,, which he believed was launched against him by Rosendo Arguello, Jr. He likewise mentioned the fact that he was contacting Carlos Castillo Ibarra, prominent Nicaraguan revolutionary leader, to acquaint him with the latest developments. 4.
