Abstract: The infrared and the ultraviolet absorption spectra of ricinus oil

ABSTRACTi An aluminum alloy contaitsing 7-900' Sil 9-3.1% Zn, 0.3-0.45 Cu,
0,4-0.6% Mg. and OeZ-0.3 Kh can be pressure cast between 580-600C. Finished
parts axs not porous and do not require thermal 1weatment. However, they can
be used only up to 1500, and are susceptible to corrosion. The molten alloy
shows good fluidity and a small capacity of absorbing gasses. The furnace is
degassed every 30 minut*sl at ?40C, by means of hexadbloroethano. Pressure
casting experiments were performed on a Polak maol~e type CLP-M.55.8.
