Water is pumped up into town and distributed through public "taps" in market area. No running water in houses or compounds. Water supply very inadequate. Grou IX - Ferry Boat 38. Ferry boat at Kaduna River where motor road crosses river, approximately 15 miles from Bida. Ferry takes one car across at a time. There were only two ferries in operation in 1953. Group X - Igbetti - Yoruba Tribe. (Approx. 35 miles Northwest of Ilorin on road to Kishi.) 33. -Village scene ,4 35. High rock mountain (or hill) next to village. Natives believe stone mountain is sacred. They worship "Shango" God.
