TITLE: Navigating sights for photogrametric work

TEXT: Polish patent No. 39979, Class 42 h, 10/07, September 2* 1957.
The patent refers to a device for guiding an aircraft alongside the
position points situated an the ground during photographing. This de-
vice allows for the adjustments due to the angular position caused by
the side wind thrust during the flight. Referring to Fig. 2 and Fig. 3
the device consists of two systems: The horizontal sights used for sight-
ing the visible points on the ground below the elevation angle of 45
degrees and the vertical ones used when the elevation of the ground
points is between 45-60 degrees. The horizontal system consists of a
front eight mounted vertically outside the cockpit and the rear eight
positioned inside the cockpit. The rear sight is provided with an ad-
justable cross for easy adjustment by a screw. The vertical system

Experiments were made in 24 dogs following pancredtectomy. Fructose values
were determined according to St6hr, lactic acid according to Furth and Harnass
and the blood sugar level according to Hagedorn-Jensen. Fructose and lactic acid
excretion were retarded. The glycogen content of the liver was decreased (to
0.3876), and the fat content increased (48.876). In further experiments the pancreat-
ectomized dogs were administered insulin or lipocaic, In the first series the

Abstract :A detailed study was made of the anomalous absorption of
light by diamagnetic complexes of C03~,in the region from
200 to 2000 millimicrons (Referat Zhur Fizikaj 1957) No 12)
31581). The appearance of absorption bands of the terms is
usually attributed to the filling of the d-orbit of the co-
balt ion by the binding electrons. Ial the bands of the ab-
soption curve could be related to the proposed processes of
excitation. All curves disclosed partially overlapping bands
of term splittingj, electron-jump bands, and bands belonging
to the intrinsic absorption of the bound radicals.

tions of general relativity and of the equation for the scalar meson field which
are produced by pimotiform nuclear charges. The solution is regular in all points
of the gravitation- and mdeon field. Alltough this solution contains some func-

perisation is a disturbance in the normal relation-
ship between the increase in circulaVikng blood
volute under the influence of the adrenalin secre-
ted during physical exertion and the capacity of
the heart to increase minute volume in response
to the adrenalln. Cardiac agents nugment the
binding of adrenalin by the heart and reduce its
peripheral effect, with compensation resultlng'frco
these effects.
