ABSTRACT:'~-Recrystallization kinetics was investigated in cold rolled CSN 17021 and
CSN 1704- steels on specimens with 5-8% reduction in the 650-750*C tem~~eraur~erange
and with 30 sec.-2 hrs. annealing times. The results were plotted on thermokinetic
diagrams from which the relations of the main parameters of the process annealing
can readily be determined, that is, the relations of the annealing temperature and
time and the degree of reduction. Suitable combination of those basic parameters
makes possible the optimum technique of heat treatment for the grades considered.

Abstract [authors' znglish summary, modified]: A report is made on the
negative effect of industrial exhalations on the health condition and
productivity of cattle in the Ostrava area. An outline 'is presented of
the present and future research on this subject in Czechoslovakia. The
purpose is to develop a system of indicators for establishing objective
data on the damage and losses caused to livestock (an estimate loss of
1-60 to 180 million korurW per year), discovering the mechanism of the
effect on organisms, and taking appropriate preventive meqsures. Forty-

ABSTRACT: A procedure is reported for spectrophotometric identification and
determination of small amounts of phenolic antioxidants and UV-absorbing sub-
stances in polypropylene. An optimal solvent for extraction has been chosen and
the precision of the direct photometric determination of tile ratios of both compo-
nents contained in the mixture has been evaluated. A suitable chromatographic

ABSTRACT: Analogous charactorization of the continuity equation was accomplished by
combining the local differentiation with respect to time and the Lagrangian equations
for continuity. The analogous characterization thus obtained represents material
variables, as verified by the rule for the differentiation of determinants together
with the commatative opert, of partial derivatives. Orig, art. has: 22 formulas.

the Danube lake region. The frequency of hides depreciated by
hypodermosis increases rapidly starting in March, reaches its
apex in April-May, is Still quite high in June-August and -~I-.en
gradually diminishes. Intensity and frequency of affliction
is higher for young bulls that for adult cattle, in some areas
as much as 2.2 times. Because of their localization in the
dorsal region, hypodermoses damage the most valuable part of
the hide and thus reduce its value by about 50 percent.

Abstract LAuthors' English summary modifiedj: The THEY, medium
is a 2 Dercent glucose peptite digestion broth with a high
nutritive value. Five and 18-hour cultures of pneumococci
and streptococci on TSIB14 medium showed 2 to 10 times higher
concentrations than were obtained with the commonly recom-
mended media (serum, Truche or glucose broth). The use of
TSIEM broth is recommended for the culture of pneumococci,
streptococcus viridans, and enterococci. Includes 2 tables
and 8 references, of which 4 Western, 1 Russian and 3 Ru-

Abstract: Study of possible shock-preventative or shock-ameliorating role
of norep nephrine in dogs; whereas Intravenous administration preceding
severe experimental hemorragic shock was followed by death, intra-aortic
administration prevented death and, when combined with administration of
a ganglioplegic(hexamethronium)it stabilized blood pressure most impres-
sively. The role qf hexomethronium to to mobilize capillary blood, of epi-
nephrine to relax splanchnic vein valves, increasing effective blood vol-
ume. Same results in one patient. 4 kymograms, I table.

served, and on ECG - changes of PQ interval, T-wave, ST-
segment In action of conditioned signal. The obtained
do-ta proves the presence of central regulation of car-
