1. An Engineer Battalion which belongs to the Engineer Regiment at Shuraen arrived
in the district of Yiichurtn (Turkish border) in the first part of
Its mission was to prepare frontier roads and bridges for mining. The soldiers
bored holes into the cement wails on the sides of bridges into which mines will
be fitted in case of emergency.
