1. The nuestion was raised by in regard to the die- 25X1A
r oral of certain working files and reference copies of cables and
ciphers. An application for the disposition of similar !?SU r s
was made to Archives and approved by the House in 1946. Mr. 25X1A
rained tare cuestion of whether this authorization was sufficient for
CIS curt --)resent CIA records, or whether supplemental authority was
required. He also asked whether microfilm would be acceptable as a
