Abstract /Author's English summary modifiod_7: An instrument
using a membrane filter for the collection of the aerosols and
photometric evaluation of the collected sample is described.
A tape of the membrane filter passes continuously over a
slot which serves for the collection of the aerosol and for the
recording of the amount of light passing through the slot and
the filter. Both values are continuously recorded. Uses of
the instruments are discussed- 4 Figures, 12 Western, 1 Czech

.ABSTRACT: Fillers modified by compounds firmly bound to the filler's surface
.and capable of-Initiating the polymerization of vinyl monomers are investigated.
For this purpose, kaolin was treated with organic peroxide compounds and then
brought in contact with refined sytrene and methyl methacrylate. Considerable
quantities of unextracted polystyrene and very large amounts of poly(methyl
methacrylate) were formed during polymerization. This is explained by the

ditions for tbe system in figure 1. Under these conditions the z-axis of the dynamic

TEXT: Only a small number of reports on the mass spectra of sulfur com-
pounds had been hitherto published. Detailed investigations were only
carried out with respect to a series of thiophenes, whose spectroscopic
data were, as expected, similar to those of alkyl benzenes (Ref. 2). In thf,-**'
present paper the results of mass-spectrometric investigations of homo- -
,logous a-alkylthiophane8 exhibiting radicals of normal structure (C 1 -C6)

TEXT: The distinctive feature of the method of synthesizing voice
-he present article is the utilization, in the synthe-
spectra described in t
sizer system, of a binary delay line consisting in magneto-semiconductor cir-
cuits or electronic commutators. The use of such binary lines instead of
'he delay lines composed of reactive elements allows to simplify the whole
system a'nd to render it" more compact. Indeed, the dely line with reactive
elements can ensure 'he required accuracy-of the synthesis only 1when it) can-
tains a great number of elements including capacitances, inductances and
electronic tubes. in the authors method; voice spectra with harmonic en-
velopes are obtained by the summation of.-pulses from the outputs of the b`_
nary delay lines, and the synthesis of the spectra is effected with the aid
of these envelopes. In his article, the author analyses some spectra formed
by sequences of C-functions and their envelopes, such as they are synthe-
