Abstract: The authors discuss three cases of invagination of the small in-
testine. They were caused by a fibroma, a lipwa and polyposia, respectively,
In adults, the disease is usually due to demonstrable pathological changes,
mostly tumors. The changes can be diagnosed by detailed passage examinations
and surgical removal of tumors zdght prevent the development of Invagination,

of Sulfamides by the D811's Method,
Orig Pub: Acta pharmac, Jugosl,, 1957, 7, mo 4, 205-215.
Abstract: Conditions were established under which the colori-
metric determination of chloramplienocoll. in the
presence of sulfamidines and phtlialylsul.fathiazole
is made possible. This method is'.applicable for
the determination of chloramphenocoll contained in
tablets or in solutions, along with sulfamides in
the range of 70-10OX of chloramphenocoll/ml. 20

Abstract: tablets are crushed and rendered into powder taking
only one sample equivalent in weight of only one
tablet. The sample is then heated for 10 minutes
with 40 ml of 96% alcohol until it is completely
dissolved. The hot solution is filtered, filter
Is washed with~ihot alcohol, and the filtrate is
then e8aporated to dryness with the remainder dried
at 105 , This is followed by the addition of 30 ml
water and boiling for 5 minutes, After cooling the
mixture is transferred into a 100 ml graduate, water
is then added and the sample is filtered. Portions
of 5,01V 4,5j 4,0, and 3.5 ml in volume of clear
filtrate are diluted with water up to 50 ml. From

are heated up to the boiling point and after
cooling are subjected to analyses employing the
