(Regulyator natya, zhaniya magnItuoy lenty v magnitofons,~,Obmen op7tom) PMODICAL- Radio, 1957, Nr 7, p 53 (USSR) ABSTRACT: A simple device is described which essentially coniists of a pressure pad rubbing against a little fl7wheal mounted on the food-rolel spindle. The pad functions as a brake whose pressure Is controlled by a spring and a lever resting on the tape. The device is so arranged that the ~raklng pressure decreases with the decrease of the amount of tape on the feedirsel. Thus the tape speed becomes more uniform with the one driving motor on the take-up, real construction adopted in Soviet amateur recorders. The above device allows use of driving motors under 50 w capacity. There is 1 figure. AVAILABLE: Library of Congress Card 1/1 ZUYEV, G. I. Conditions of the higher.nervous activity in pold brOakers.
