Week of 10-1.7 June 1977
I. Major Activities During the Past Week:
A. Support to OC
CIMS - Communication Inventory Management System.
The customer has approved the project proposal for the
CIMS. This system will provide inventory control for
the OC property repair and return pro ram. CIMS will
be supported by the GIM-II software.
B. Support to OP
PERSIGN - Integrated Personnel Information System.
Meetings have begun with. the office of Personnel analyst
to discuss the requirements for the Hospitalization and
Insurance segments. Initial progress had been satis- STATINTL
factory. This is in preparation for the writing of a
feasibility study addressin the mini-computer versus
main frame alternatives.
C. Support to OF
GAS - General Accounting System. Testing of IV
Phase Version-3 system software was partially completed.
The only problem remaining is in the. area of processing
Schedule D accounting.: Currently Version-3 is being
used at Headquarters and Version-2 at Key Bldg..
D. 'raining During the. Past Week:
1. A two-day course, GIM-II User Language, was
completed by 17 students.
2. A three-day course, Basic JCL, was completed
by 19 students.
Office of Security - SACS - Security Access Control
System - Badge access device problem. We were informed

of a possible malfunction in the SACS mini-computer
software/hardware which resulted in six missing badge
records (out of 750 people who entered through the
system). The _ technician is working on the problem.
We have provided the customer with CENBAD
data to update the SACS data base. & i &
