The eight megabyte storage upgrade to the 168-1 has cause no production instability. The system is being moni- tored closely for performance benefits of this enhancement. STATINTL 2. GIMDEV is now running with the .1 version. Targe date for production is 6 July. 3. Implementation of Version 3 operating system has been compl ted on the IV Phase key-to-disk data entry sy:~tem at Headq arters. This version will enhance operator response time, permit data entry and verification to be performed simul aneously within the same batch, and provide bE~tter stati tical reports. STATINTL 4 One program remains to be processed for the GAS month end p ocessing. Over 900 of this r was completed by 3 Jun , a new record for GAS. STATINTL Tasks Planned .1 Testing and evaluation of the eight~f core on the 1 8-1 will continue for another week. 1 Problems with the UPS caused unscheduled power outages in th Center over the weekend. - 2 Instabilities on the 360/195 have shifted the workload to th 370/168-3 and consequently there have been inadequate resou ces for MVS/JES3 testing.
