taken in my case and your sympathetic understanding of
my problem. I assure you that I shall do my best to justify
your confidence.
Although the Agency will suffer a great loss at your
departure it is most fortunate that the General persuade
you to continue as consultant and trouble-shoot3r. It 13
also fortunate (and a compliment to you) that a team suan
as Messrs. Diil]es and Wisner had been developed to carry
on the work that you have so well started.
Thanks again for everything that you have done in my
behalf. If an occasion should ever arise in which I
could perform a service or favor in your behalf I t-'ould
