about 94 ka from the town Nallchik. It consiatt of a
large number of ore bodies and the predominant type is
8karn. The Skarn ore consists of three types,
predominantly tungsten ore, tungsten-molybdenum and
predominantly molybdenum ore. As regards quantity,
the first two grades predominate and form the centralt
very thick, part of the main Okarn body; the molybdenum
ores are basioally located in the North-western part.
Since the character of the ore 49posits is non-unifors
the minim in affected simultaneously at several levels.
The authors argue that since some of the molybdenum ores 4
also contain tungsten trioxide it is necessary to take

ABSTRACT: The Tbilisi Institute of Railroad Transportation Engineers has
investigated concretes with two-component cementitious material made from
ground trios (a volcanic -rock of the Xkra-0ag mountain, Crime&) and lime.
and also with three-component comenUtious material, the third component
being portland cement. The combined comentitious material has been
produced by mixing dry components in a concrete mixer for 20 min. Optimum
compositions of concrete with different proportions of comentitious materials
within 236-382 kg/m3 have been found in accordance with GOST 4801-49. On

The method of pnoumatitt loading of 49op blast holes now being
introduced into the mining oporstiona. The authors describe
this method devised by the laborator7 of drilling and blast-
ing works of the Severo-Kaykazikiy g:rnO-M;t&llurgi:h*ikiy

and applied In the blasting works at tho aint, Molibdon of
the Tyray-Autskiy Combine. The loading mqtho:i wa? tested both
with the powdered ammonite and the ammcnilta In cartridges.
The applienoe for lbading the powdared ammonite consisted
of a set of tubes, a dveing appmratne (for whIch a cement
