I Samples of coal strata of the Central Donbas coal region weree,
investigated with the aid of an ER-3 electron-microscope to
determine the form of their transient porosity. Electron-
microscopic photos (magdfied x 20,000) of coal samples taken
from the Mazur coal stratum, are included. Three USSR refer-
ences (1952 and 1953).
