Increave of the Output; of Instruments S,)VI119-59-1-3120 sufficiently high to meet the standards fixed in the plan that it must be increased in any case. In his o-?inion the production of automation instruments must be increased to the 3.2-3-4 fold. Ee believes that this can be put into prac bice as the construction of factories producin.-, instruments involves, relatively IoNy expense. Greatest attention must be paid to an extended development of test and demonstration devioes in all fields of economic planning. State planning will havo to keep EL watchful eye on the development of instrument build:;ng in order to guarantee a real coordination of the i-ndiv'.dual organizations and enterprises. (AUS). Together with an instrument construation faictory of the Moskovskoye (gorodskoys) sovnarkhoz (Moacow (municipal) sovnarkhoz) pick-ups and blocks of the pneumatic AUS wire developed and intmauced into production. At the factory "Tizpribor" -)ick-ups of the type a 4,11 P!-/-4 (DMPK-4) andAM _~-100 (DMPK-100) with pn;'Mmatic power compensation are produced which will be ueMJnpneumatJ.c control units .For V\ the first pick-up a pressure of up to 1 kg/cm 2 can be lised if a protective 2 is employed. The second pick-.up can be used for relay of up to 4 kg/oM Card 1/3 New Developments of NIITeplopribor S/11 61/000/001/010/013 BOI 9YB067 2 pressures up to IOC kg/om .The secondary summator of type 1OR-48A OSP-48A) op.,.uee without electric eneroyl summing is riade by a pneu- matic integrator of the typenHY-1 (PIK-1). The author also discusses a reducing valve of typeE3nP(BPP) which is designated as supply block. Itxuduces input pressures of 2.5 - 10 kg/CM 2 to 1 - 1.6 kg/cm2. This unit is produced in series by a factory of the Kazanskoye sovnarkhoz (Kazan, sovnarkhoz). The pneumatic compensation pick-up of the typen XK-1 (PUK-1) was constructed for fluid density meas-crements. It warrants a continuous measurement of the fluid densities in the ran,?e of from 0.5 3 2 2.5 g/Om and of static pressures up to 10 kg/cM . An e1qctronic unified control. system was constructed. The units of this system and the pneu- matic LUS can be combined by means of elect ropneumati c and pneumoelectric converters. The EAUS is designed as follows: the output a.gnals of all instruments art) d. c. signals in the range of 0.5 - 5 milliamperes. The instruments are exchangeable and tuned to the pneumatic LUS. This system Card 2/3 89oo5 Now Developments of NIITeplopribor 8/119J61/000/001/010/013 B019/BO67 consists of the eleatronic mechanical converter: -2A (E..2D) and 3-2E (E-2Ye), of the control station 3P.-43? This system is thoroughly described. The author also iis, iusses a dif- CS.. fusion manometer of the typeAIIA-f (DMEK-f) andYM ..%-m (DMEPK-m) with power compensation which supplies d. c. signals. Purthernore, hydro- meters of the tYPOS(I)KP-5 (PZhR-5) andnAP-4 (PZI.R-4) whi.ch were on show at the Brussels' World Exposition as well as a radioactive level indicator of the typePHY-2 (RIU-2) are described. This indicator J.s used in filling crushers. There are 20 figures. Card 3/3 S/19 62/000/006/014/232 D413YD308 'UTHORS: 0 A Arutyun v, K.B., and Svecharnik, D.V. Table 2 (Figure 7) contains indices of the kiln's perfDrmance showing that the efficiency of the furnace 'aas increased by 8 %. The heat consumption has been reduced by 150 kcal/kg of clinker, i.e.$by 8 % of the total heat consumption necessary for the clinker calcination. Moreover, the following positive results have been obtained due to modification of the chain screens: 1. The clinker qualities were improved. 2. Ex- hausting dust has been reduced. 3. Labour and ex- penses connected with the process have been reduced. 4. Electrofilter performance has been improved due to Pe reduction of the gas temperature by more than 100 The author concludes that the modifications Card 3/4 SOV/101-59-4-1/10 A Chain Screen in a Rotary Kiln introduced in the suspension of the chain screens will increase the resistance of the kiln's lining and insure a steady performance of -;he rotary kiln. TITLE: Errors of Two-Stage Integrating Gyroscope Caused by Object Angle Variations PERIODICAL: Izvestiya vysshikh uchebnykh zavedeniy - priborostroy- eniye, 1959, Nr 2, pp 56-58 (USSR) ABSTRACT: The two-stage integrating gyroscopes used on some objects permit determining of the slightest devia- tions from a given direction. Some-times, the gyro- scope body is firmly fastened to tlhi~ object. In such cases, the maximum sensitivity of the gyroscope to- wards turning of the object around its vertical axis z should be ensured, as, namely, tho-se turnings de- termine deviation of the object from its initially given course. In Fig 1, the diagrfua of a two-stage integrating gyroscope is given. It is assumed that the axis y 0 of the gyroscope, in rejipect of which the angle of deviation OL is measured, coincides with the transverse axis y of the object; the axis Card 1/3 x of the own gyroscope rotation, a,:; m = 0, coin 8 0 V 66190 BOV/146-59-2-10/23. Errors of Two-Stage Integrating Gyroscope Caused by Object Angle. Variations with the longitudinal axis x of the object. D = is damper; DU - transducer of angles between the axes x and x. As is well known, when parameters of a t~o-stage integrating gyroscope are ade ,~uately select- ed, the turn of the object at an angle around its vertical axis z causes deviation of gyroscope axis X 0 from the longitudinal axis x of the object by an angle G1. which is directly proportional to the angle Y . If transducer of angles DU has a linear charact- eristic of the output signal, the value of this sig- nal is also directly proportional tc the anglej . This signal is just utilized for ste, bilization of the object's course. However, if the gyroscope body is firmly fastened to the object, an exror in the de- termination of the deviation angle e.ppears. Having made the necessary calculations, the author gives the final formula determining the vF,lue of error: 4cL 5z--, 0.005.t deg; t is expressed in seconds. He itnalyzes the metion equations of pendulums at perfodio motioni of the suspension point along an elliptic trajectory. A partial periodic solution of the motion equation Is obtained by the method of a "small parameter". The stability conditions of this ablution are determined. It-in shown that the pendulum'6saillationa in the,iYkv9stigated ouse are stable'(and, moreover,.asymptotically) at limited vibration and friction parameters. A number of examples are analyzad whieh'dorrespend to different lawi7of motion of the suspension point.
