Certain applications of Hall effect devices

TEXT: The basic relationships in Hall-effect devices are given.
The application is considered of the Hall emf. Ge anti 1USb probes
as linear and square law detectors and the reasons for resulting
errors are analyzed. The first source of error is the-non-linearity
of the dependence of the Hall voltage on the magnetic induction in
a loaded probe. The existing constructions of probes have the fol-
lowing characteristics: maximum deviation from linearity Em = 0.5 -
176; maximum permissible current I = 0.075 0.6 A, Hall voltage

in-troduced intothe medium. In each bowl four
antigens were examined simultanously: 2 antigens
from.red blood corpuscles of bioalthy donore and
2 from red blood corpuscles of-affected persons.
The-result was considered as-positive if more
precipitation lines-were formed in the.reaction
of the antivaccines with the antigens from red
blood corpuselea.of Intact donors. The results
are list.-ed in table 1 and figure 1, All preparations
examined from red blood corpusel-es of'affeated persons
yielded positive rebults in an overwhelmiAK majority
of samples (93.5 per cent). This illustrates the
presence of a specific antigen in the-red blood
co#useles of persons affected by lympho- and myelo
lsucocytodiA., by reticulosie and thymona.Yurther
investigations are expected to show at what stages
of the illness ',. specific antigens can be traced

TEXT: Unlike in other studies, the cffcct of small radiation doses (10-50r. 123-9001) wai here invcstig;ited
in both acute and chronic experiments (during 11/2 years). Elect torctinography (ERG) was performed
with contact-lens-cleatodes; intrarctinal potentials were recorded with microclectrodes; SH-grouris in (fie
retina wcrcdctvnnind amperorritirically; the absorption spectra ofrhodopsinex1racled from theittins were
established and both morphological and histochemical analyses were carried out. The radiosensitivity or
light-strisitivc organs in worms, of the compound-ey~ in insects, and of eyes in vertebrates, werecompared.
Chronic irradiation with small doses brought about an abnormal functional condition or the retina, and this
q effect had cumulative characteristics. The light-stitsitive. (chromatophore reaction) system in the skin of the

ABSTRACT: The authors state that in the original scheme of the petroleum pro-
ceasing unit "Sovetskaya Trubehatkaff the flaw of exude stock entered
side-chambers of the ftmme in two streams., and the central can-
vection chamber in one stream. As a result, the pressure at the
outlet of the furnace pwap was rising to 15-18 atm. (Fig. 1).
Since such -pressure impa:Lred operating conditions of the unit and
reduced its output, Engineers A. A. Kyazimov and A. A. Ilddristan-ly
prcTosed that the origin3l flow scheme of the unit be chemged.
According to this new schemet the crude stock from the primary
ewxporator cams in two streams to the central Ueetion and side
sections of the convection chamber and then runs in two streams
through radiant tubes of the side bank and the ceiling bank. (ru. 2)
