2. Impending Retirees
The Deputy Director of Security paid tribute to the
following Office of Security personnel who will retire
from the Agency on 25 February. These individuals rep-
resent an invaluable wealth of talent and years of
excellent service to the Agency. Along with our
deepest thanks and best wishes, we offer a fond farewell
to the following.

3. Staff Meeting Format Modification
The format for the balance of today's Staff Meeting
was modified to allow several attendees to comment
on matters of current and mutual interest. The
following is a summary of selected comments.
4. DDA Division Chiefs Conference
The Chief, Physical Security Division announced
that the DDA Division Chiefs Conference is scheduled
25X1A for 28 February through 2 March WA total of
49 Directorate division chiefs wi nd. Repre-
The objective of the conference is to provide a
forum for the discussion and solution of managerial
problems impacting upon the Directorate. On 5 March,
the conference Steering Committee will brief the DDA
and A/DDA on conference results.
5. DCI Designate
The Chief, DCI Protective Staff advised that Admiral
Stansfield Turner is currently in Europe participating
in farewell and change of command ceremonies in
connection with his former naval duties. He is
scheduled to return stateside on 2 March.
6. Office of Security Case Control and Reporting (OSCCAR)
System
The Chief, Security Records Division advised that
appropriate Office and ODP representatives have reviewed
the OSCCAR System and discussed its problems and
deficiencies. ODP has indicated that development
of a new system is recommended in lieu of modifying
the current system. The Office of Security will

prepare a paper identifying the scope of our revised
requirements. ODP will then follow-up with proposed
specifications for the new system.
7. Briefcase Inspection
The DD/PTOS commented that an inspection of briefcases
was conducted on 23 February at all Agency facilities
25X1A except This latest inspection activity
determine t at 53 persons were in the possession of
official data upon exiting these facilities. A total
of 96 documents were involved.
8. Resident Agencies
The DD/PSI announced that a recently concluded study
identified two resident agencies which will be closed
effective the summer of 1977. These residences are
