contents of 1.76-11.64%, were investigated for structural characteristics, physical
properties (both before and after heat-treatment), thermal resistance, electrical
and magnetic behavior, and effect of alloying materials. These steels are covered
by a Hungarian patent [patent number not stated]. The data obtained in the studies

ABSTRACT: To determine the accuracy of the triangulation network based
on stereographic projection, introduced for the city of Budapest ;In
1860 and still in use at this time, the projections of the direction
angle were calculated from the astronomical azimuth. Before this cal-
culation could be porformedo it was necessary to calculate the ellip-
soidal coordinates. The direction angle (6) was calculated by using
the equ"tiOn 6 - & - 1k + 61-2 - 66, where a represents the astrono-
mical aximuth, 1h represents the projection meridian convergence, and
