SOURCE: AN SSSR Izvestiya. Neorganicbeskiye materinly, v. 1, no. 12, 1965, 4158-2164 TOPIC TAGS: solid solution, antimony alloy, tellurium alloy, selenium alloy AMVLyao,5. J0,0140F 4D".--1GA?0'4'f7) ABSTRACT: The homogenized alloys were studied by differential thermal analysis with a Xurnakov pyrometer and by x-ray powder techniques. Because of the supercooling tendencies of the alloys, the thermal effects were recorded on heating curves. The eutectic type of the phase diagram of the system with limited solid solutionts was confirmed. The region of homo- geneity of the solid solution based on Sb2Te, is located twtween 0 and 53.5 mole % Sb Se at a12 3 500C and between 0 and 52.5 mole % Sb_nS% at 350C. The constants of the hexagon SNTe3, lattice decrease with increasing Sbb.%,3 content of the solid solution: a from 4.264 to 4. 128 A, o from 30.42 to 29.52 JL In the range from 46.5 to 97 mole % gb~.Se.7at 500C there exists a Bvo-phase region consisting of solid solutions based on Sb~,Se,, and %Te..
