raeulting from compressive and tensile cycling during ellipsoidal rotations about a
vertical axis with oblique magnetization. The value AT was given as:

calculated profile. The vertical components of Z and N were derived and AT was calcu-
latad for the compression and tension of ellipsoiAR, using the dimensions of the sami-

N1q, where R is the radius and q is the sem1focal point distance. Nomagraphs were giv-~_
