SAFE A. The consolidated Project Activities and the FY-79 Budget will be presented as a part of NFAC's Usage of ADP Briefing for a Senate staff on 4 November 1977. This presentation will be similar to that presented to OMB examiners and IC Staff representatives on 28 October 1977. B. The administrative Memorandum of Understanding is continuing to be reviewed and revised. This Memorandum and a Project Management Plan will be ready for joint (DCI and D/DIA) signatures by 1 December 1977. C. The SAFE System Development Group is reviewing questions that were asked by the contractors during last week's Orientation Briefings. While some questions will be answered immediately, these answers and other revisions will be included in the Baseline version of the SAFE Functional Requirements Document that is scheduled to be delivered to the contractors in mid-January 1978. Assignments and schedules have been made for some recently identified deliverables to STATINTL be developed by the Government. 2. ADSTAR A. The revised ADSTAR Management Plan is in the final stages of coordination with OCR and DDO. A copy of the package was given to OCR's ADSTAR STATINTL Requirements Officer. STATINTL C. A visit was made to to review immediate Project plans. STATINTL 3. RAPID A. Design documents are still trickling in from STATINTL and is reviewing them. The Historical Fi a Process ( es Specifications were reviewed and accepted, and a letter to this effect will be submitted to the Contractor. B. Meetings are in progress between OGC and the other Agency principals involved in RAPID to put together a chronology of the RAPID project. A. An.update to the June 1977 development schedule was received from the Contractor this week. This revised schedule does not affect the completion date of 30 June 1978. However, any slips in the new schedule may delay delivery. B. As a result of the new scheduling the third Critical Design Review will be held on 2 December versus 11 November 1977. C. The date for converting the 360/67 to a classified system has been changed from 16 December 1977 to 31 January 1978. This change resulted from a review of the security clearance status of several TADS Contractor personnel. Also, secure TADS Delta Data terminals will not be available until the 1978 January - February time frame. D. An effort to do a Pert analysis of the run schedule has been initiated.
