1. Based on your memorandum of 16 April 1959 (DPD 2540-59) of the
tests at Burbank, California, specifically the 9 April 1959
flights, it is requested that you pass to Lockheed information on successful
completion of the contract for the full amount. Relative to the inflight
computer, it is recognized that this is not yet an operational piece of
equipment but due to circumstances beyond the manufacturers control
"changes which we have thrown into the program" we cannot expect at
this time that it be ready. On the subject of TDY during the platform
program this office has not yet had an opportunity to contact
but will do so in the next few days.
2. A seconds being built for the 130 tests which has yet not
been programmed for Pte contract. These arrangements will be finalized
on 22 April. Results of this will be forwarded to you in a memorandum for
the record on the return of
