A. The following U. S. Treasury securities are submitted for your
consideration:
1. 4% U. S. Treasury Bonds maturing 15 February 1980
2. 4 1/8% U. S. Treasury Bonds maturing 15 February 1974
3. 4 1/4% U. S. Treasury Bonds maturing 15 August 1987/92
4. 4% U. S. Treasury Bonds maturing 15 August 1973
B. Specific Recommendation
our advisors in Treasury have recommended proposal A.1 above for
addition to our present portfolio. This issue is selling at approximately
94 3/8 with a yield to maturity of 4.54. This recommendation is predicated
on the present market value and our intention to hold such securities
until the full maturity date.
