SUBJECT: Amendment No. 2 to Contract Wo. SC56 with Lockheed 25X1A
Aircraft Corporation - Project 1(A) (AQUATONE)
1. This memorandum contains a recommendation submitted for approval
of the Director of Central Intelligence. Such recommendation is set
forth in Paragraph 5.
2, Letter Contract No. SC-56 provides for the services overseas
of Contractor personnel comprising crew chiefs, flight line mechanics,
plumbing, electrical and tank sealing speolalistc, auto-pilot service
personnel, check-out pilots and related supervisory and miscellaneous
enuipment service personnel.
3. An *mount not to exceed has been obligated under
Letter Contract No. SC-56 and Amendment No. 1 from Fiscal Year 1956
AQUATONE fimods to cover work ane services for the period from 1 April
1956 through 30 june 1956. It is estimated that the total contract
price for the contractor's services for the period I July 1956 to
