SUBJECT: Briefs on Communism in Latin
America
1. Pursuant to your conversation with on 25X1A
24 December 1958, the attached briefs have been compiled for
the purpose of briefing the military attaches in Latin America
and thereby stimulating the collection of- overt 'information on
Com.muni sm.
2. A summary on coordination by the Communist
Party of the Soviet Union of Communist activities in Latin
America, and charts illustrating the coordination pattern,
are also being prepared and will be forwarded as soon as
possible.
