SUBJECT: Amendment No. 12, Contract No. A-101, with the
1. This memorandum contains a recommendation submitted
for approval of the Director of Central Intelligence. Such
recommendation is set forth in Paragraph 4.
2. Contract No. A-101 and Amendments Nos. 1 through 11
thereunder provide for the research and development and pro-
duction in connection with electronic systems and supporting
equipment being procured by AQUATONE. Amendment No. 12 pro-
vides for additional Office of Communications requirements for
System No. 2 as part of a special project recently approved
by the Director of Central Intelligence.
