Under trade agreements the Zeiss-Ikon Works at Dresden produce chiefly movie projection
equipment, motion picture camera equipment, and,cameras for scientific purposes.
The Soviet Union requires above all. high-power cameras for-airplane equipment,
especially multiple telecameras with interchangeable tele object glasses and
specially treated lenses. Specifications for the development, especially with
infrared material, come from the Soviet Union.
2. The production of infra radar search apparatus, which was carried out in conjunction
with Zeiss Jena, is finally ended. The production designs have had to be returned
to the Soviet Union.
3. In Oct 53, about 2,000 eccentric curve potentiometers were delivered to the Soviet
Union. They are designed for. 24 volts load. Mechanical parts for optical aiming
devices are also manufactured. Production in October was 44 pieces.
