1. It is requested that Miss be reimbursed
for language training which she plans to take beginning 17 September
1951 at the Institute of Languages and Linguistics, Georgetown Univer-
sity, 1719 Massachusetts Avenue, N. W., Washington, D. C. The course
in which lvliss~ plans to enroll is "Introductory and Intermedi -
ate French" and will be given in the evenings.
2. Miss is presently being processed for an overseas
position and will assume some of the duties of a reports officer. A
fluent knowledge of FYy-anch will greatly enhance her value to the or-
ganization. Language training records and other facilities available
will be used by subject to further her training in the field.
