2. A knowledge of French will be valuable in order for subject
staff employee to carry out his mission, and to be proficient in
his operational duties.
3. It is requested that under the provisions of cited reference
60-hours of instruction in French at the Berlitz School of Languages,
839 17th St., N.W., Washington, D. C. be approved, and that expenses
in the amount of 4270,00 be allowed for this purpose.
