a barter transaction. According to his statements, Chile has no need for
pesetas, but would provide a ready market for Spanish machinery, textiles and
other products. Do Rementeria believes that shipment of merchandise from Spain
can be made over a period of time and distribution handled in such a way as not
to clog the local market.

has been uncovered which would indicate that the shipments to Spain are not bona
