hands of the Iron Guard and was used to hide Horia 3ima when he was in
Paris. On 19 November 19L$ Rev. Stefan I,ucaci and Rev. Yasile Boldeanu were
inter~.eyred by the police authorS.tiea atxi short]q thereaftQr were informed
that the council election urea il].ega3.. They were told that Rev ivatwviai
had organized a Rvmanfan Religion Association which wan recognised as
legal. Boldeanu Ras accused by the French authori.tiea of attempting to
reorganize the T ron Gust'd under the protection of the churcp. All T ran
Guard ruembers then resigned from the church council.
Following the succ~ea of Rev. IQanrnvioi'e manoeuver, the National Peausar~ta
in Paris,~nnounced the3.r oFpoaition to C~uniat control of the church.
General RadebvtG has likeKise issued instructions to hi.e adherents to
oppose Rev Ivanovici.
