Comment. On 15 September 194 the Dutch outlawed Communism
in Indonesia. )'-
1. Solicitor General H.W. Felderhof has decided that the Sin Ming Hui,
which has been alleged to be a Communist organization, cannot legally
be considered Communist.

2. Before making this decision, the Solicitor General had asked for the opinion
of KHOUW Keng Lim, managing director of the Batavia Bank. KHOU6"1 accused
the organization of being Communist on the grounds that it had supported
miners' strikes and had received international Communist delegates at its
headquarters.
