to be used to serve Yugoslav interests.
The, Yugoslav Consulate is making persistent efforts to ascertain the
AW,'$ Of those who during the occupation were enrolled in the "`Bulgarian
Cb and the Ru}all Community, particularly those imbued with
opw4st principles. The effort is directed first at the most important
14xlarophrones,~ with the hope that later all the rest may be incorporated
in an. organization dependent upon the Consulate. Among the Rumanophrones, the

1. Recently the Yugoslav Consulate in Salonika has attempted to ascertain the
all elements in Greece acting against the "national interests
k recce," It then tried to unite all of these in a group eventually
Ureece and through them to penetrate the Rumano-Vlach element.
There has been, however, a willingness among the Rumano-Vlach teaching
Personnel to serve the Yugoslav C nsulate. Four individuals have become
agents of the Yugoslav Consulate.
? The Consulate is also attempting to ascertain the fate of those refugees
who escaped from beyond the Iron Curtain into Greece. This is a permanent
target of the Consulate. The Consulate believes that these refugees
are being organized to be sent into Yugoslavia for action against the
present regime.
Peter Guberina was especially active in this attempt before his recall; later
this work has been continued,by Martin Gabricevic, Yugoslav Vice-Consul.
The Consulate's efforts have not made much headway among the Bulgarophrones, be-
cau0e they do not wish to subject themselves to Yugoslav influence.
7, The Consulate is attempting to learn the names of'Greeks who collaborated with
the Germans during the occupation and who now hold important posts in the
Greek Government and Army. Source does not know what the Yugoslav
Consulate wants with this information, but suspects that Yu&cslavia
w411 attempt to use it in an attack on Greece in the General Assembly
of the United Nations.
