1. Attached is a letter from the NSC Special Committee
on Technical rveeillance Countermeasures assigning to CIA
responsibility for preparation of collection requirements on
devices, search techniques, and electronic capabilities related
to technical surveillance devices and countermeasures.
2. Tour office is designated the executive agent within
CIA to accomplish the action required by the assignment from
the N3C.
3. OR, OCR, OS, and OC will cooperate and render
assistance as required and requested by you.
