LOCATION:
5 nm south-southwest of reference point.
FUNCTION:
This support facility will serve SAM sites deployed for the defense
of Chelyabinsk.
SITE STATUS:
Early stage of construction.
REMARKS :
This facility is situated on gently rolling terrain in a wooded area.
Initial construction has begun on the service roads drive-through
checkout/maintenance building, 2 drive-through checkout buildings,
3 storage buildings, 3 support buildings and a.security fence to
enclose the facility. Other features include an excavation for
a fuel tank.
An antiaircraft garrison containing thirteen tractors with thirteen
missile trailers is located 3 nm north of the facility.
