According to government plans, the production of electrical power
for Slovenia will be increased to about 206,000 Kw by 1938. These
figures do not include the .following electric-power plants in that
section of Venezia Giulia which will probably ceded to Slovenia
at the peace conference:

If the last three power plants are included, the total planned
electric power production for Slovenia should be about 260,,E
kwin1948.
C. Plants under construction:
(1) The addition of three booster stations to the liravograd hydro-
electric plant will increase production of that plant from 15,000
Kw to 22,500 Kw, These booster stations, originally built by
the Germans, were heavLly damaged during the war and are now
being recontructed.
(2) A moo--electric plant was started at !oste pri Zirovnici (140?'
46? 5') inlay l9h6. A 50 meter reinforced coxacrete dam has
been constructed across the Sava River to provide power for this
station. It is anticipated that the station will piduce 25,000
Kw by 19460

One of the most ambitious projects in Slovenia, originally
initiated by the Germans and now being completed by the
present govern ent, is the hydro-electric plant at Felherjev
Otok (151038' -- 460351) near Maribor. It will be, when
finished, the largest plant in Sloveiiia_ with a production
of about Shp O Ken. For'additional details see.attached sketch.

The govern nt has almost completed the "Tito" hydro-electric
plant near Katuni (16048' - 43?29' ), along the Cetisaa River,
which is scheduled to furnish 73,000 K beginning so sei< ne in 19 .7A
The "Yinodol' hydro-electrio plant at Gorski Kotar (1 4040, - 45o121)
is scheduled to be finished in 1919, when it will produce 65,OOO
Kw for use primarily by the Susak-Karlovac railroad.

The "Bogatic" hydro-electric plant is being built along the
Zelesnlca River Just north of the village of Bogatic (18?23' - 430481),
This plant ill Surniah 10,1000 Kw to Sarajevo and the coal-
