Early in Dee.mber 1946 Lt. Colo Luka- Knesevioh, Chief of Staff of the 43rd Division
was transferared, together with other high ranking offioers, to Fiusts from head-
quarters in Ddariboro Lt. Colo Knesoviob0 a member of the Coo monist Party size*
before the war, oarried on Partisan activities in Istria during the war and
participated in the elihera.tioi" of Triesteo He was with the General Staff
of the Tito troops in Trieste until the troops were a vaouated. He served as
Chief of Staff of the 20th Division in Ilirska Bistrica until his appointment
as Chief of Staff of the 43rd Divisions
