In general, neo-FascisM in Northern Italy is directed by former offi- cer operating under the namenof "Colonel M." The movement which in- cludes in its ranks General Mario Caraccio/o appears to be closely linked with certain Free Mason elements through Generals Navarra Viggiani and Alessandro Piazzoni. Much of theneo-Fascist activity in Northern Italy, however, can apparently be traced to minor local agitators opera- ting independently and sporadically. A DEP.
