destroyed by the Yugoslav army in 1941. This bridge in in the course of room-

was only resumed in the autumn of 1946. Pentad unpaid labor was employed on
thia work.
5. Zumanovo-Gjujeseva. This line VR8 begun by the Bulgnriane during the ?eau-
intinded-to oonneot Skoplje and Sofia. The earthwork, bridges,
and some of the tunnels are completed. ?he largest tunnel at Gjujeseva, which
Is 700 meters long, is not yet ready. Another year of intensive work is re-
paired to finish this line.
GO Kooane-Gorna Dshumaya. This is a strategic line begun by the Bulgarians
durilag7ihi1i'ocouiaifa7ind intended to connect the Vardar and Strum valleys*
The rails have not yet been laid, but it is thought that this line Will be
ready in about six months.

8. .Roads
1. During 1945 all the Principal raids were provisionally repaired by forced
labor0 iron and oonerete bridges which were destroyed have been replaced by
wooden ones. All the repair and construction works are guarded.
2. The following roads have been repaired and can carry vehicles not exoeeding
eight to ten tones

mountain region In the direction of Epirus and Salonioa.
C. Labor Condition*
