1.. The Russian Trade Delegation from Berlin that visited
Switzerland in December 1946 offered for sale sugar from
zechoslovekia and 4,500,000 meters of textiles. The
Russians dealt only with cooperatives and large associations.
2. The Delegation purchased silk from Italy, through a Swiss
Intermediary, source reports, and sold the Swiss large
quantities of artificial silk stockings. Buyers who
axamined the stockings in Berlin declared them satisfactory.
