1? The Communist Sungari River winter offensive has ended. The Communists succeeded
in capturing a large amount of grain in the area which they inVaded. Their
casualties have bean estimated at 20000 mostly as a result of air strafing.
Nationalist casuraties also have been estimated at 2000.
2. Tow-tao-iwal-tzu (125-520 41..29). was recaptured by the Cannunists on 21 January.
