1. Most of the troops at Dzamiin Ude (111-13, 44-30), an important advance base
for the Mongolian People's Republic Army, are those Inner Mongolians who
surrendered to the Outer Mongolian Army in 1945.
Notes Dzamiin Ude is on the road between Kalgan and Ulan Bator
Urga, just inside the border of the Mongolian People's Republic]
2 In the middle of May 1945, the Outer Mongolian troops who were stationed in
Dzamiin Ude gained control of the ton hoshurs in Sfli.ngolr Aimak in a few hours
time.
3. After the Chinese Communists had occupied a part of Inner Mongolia, (which part
