As soon as concrete blocks are inserted in the breeches in the docks, it is intended to build a protecting wall., The first jetty to be repaired after the liberation was the "3upilovo" where large liners can tie up. 2. Other port along the coast are also being repaired. Porto Re is already half completed. 3. Work is progressing satisfactorily at Euccari; and at Carlo- pago the central dock has been repaired. Repairs are continuing at Segna and Gherso, although the most important work has been completed. The TI, a 700-ton tanker has been r as sod at S. Pietro l adda-~ lena, Where it had been sunk by the Germans. It is expected that it will be in running order within seven months.
