EIC COMENT6 ON REPOT OF THE SCIENTIFIC ESTIMATES CO ITTF.E

l0 Diecus3 on: This special meeting of the EIC was called to
prepare awrfften "IC comment on the SEC paper "Coordination of
Guided Missiles Intelligence Activities" (IAC-D-81/].0). It was
noted by members that the LAC instruction had called for SECes
"coordinating" the preparation of this paper with the EIC whereas
the document had actually been prepared unilaterally.
explained that he had made certain suggestions to the SEC Chairman
as to changes in the wording of the SEC draft which he believed
would have made it acceptable to the EIC; but these had not been
accepted by the SEC members, Accordingly it had been agreed that
convents by the EIC would be submitted separately prior to the
IAC meeting on 12 July 1955.
